Its importance!

The differential is a gear box that is located in between the drive wheels of the vehicle. Its advantages are turning of the drive wheels at different speeds especially during a turn. Often a gummy substance is formed that prevents the proper lubrication of the gears. This is resulted from the breakdown of the lubricating fluid in the differential. Thus the fluid needs to be replaced which would otherwise create premature wearing of the gear and the drive wheel tires.
